Lonergan Music Studio
August 2008
Welcome to the 2008-2009 season!
Well, it's the middle days of August as I write this, and the summer is dwindling. It's been wonderful, though, and I'm looking forward to the new season!
I hope you are too.
For those of you who are new to the studio (or starting mid-year) welcome!
I look forward to your meeting and joining the club of veteran students and parents who support,
encourage and enjoy each other's work!
Please see the Academic Calendar to keep track of your schedule.

These rehearsals will take the place of all lessons the week preceeding the recital.
Cello Group Classes
Six weeks of Cello Group classes for technique, repertoire and note reading/chamber music are always great fun,
and will be offered again this fall and winter, held on Saturday mornings, October 18th - November 29th and January 10th to February 21st.
I’ve arranged to use a large space in a central Ann Arbor location. The Fall Group Class Schedule is now available.
This website
It seems I’m always working on updating the studio website, but it has proved a valuable resource for
many. If you haven’t explored it, please do! It’s simple, but has lots of information.
Let me know if you have anything more to share in this space...instruments for sale, a good article about music or
musicians, the cello, something you've learned, upcoming performances, etc.
Here’s to another great year of progress!
Yours,
Debra Lonergan
